Oneplus 8 Pro -Review

If you are planning to own One plus 8 Pro, simply go and own one. If you want to know about the features in detail. Welcome to my Review.

The pros that I like the most are

Design and screen:

This phone comes with typical Oneplus earlier flagships design with a vertical camera position. It is powered by 6.78 inches QHD super Amoled display with 120hz refresh rate. Even the highest refresh rate supports at QHD as well as full HD which is missing on Samsung’s flagships. It has glass body both front and back with gorillas v5 with frosted matte finish which looks super stylish and grippy to hold. frame is made up of metal. Screen have curved edges on both the sides, it looks much more elegant.

Processor:

It is powered by Qualcomm’s powerful snapdragon 865 process which is build on 7nm technology, there is no issue in managing daily tasks, even it can handle high end games such as pubg and codm in highest graphics without any lag or frame drops.

OS:

Oneplus mobiles are famous for their Oxygen OS, and this one continues to be one of the cleanest and fluidish OS in android. Thanks to the fluid Amoled display for the smoothness and that 120hz R rate. Bloatware on this mobile is pretty negligible.

Sound:

It has stereo speakers, so the sound output will be from both bottom and top speakers with makes stereo effect while watching videos and stuff. Oneplus has actually increased the sound output for this phone which is good.

Features:

Oneplus finally introduce wireless charging to its devices and this one supports upto 30w wirelessly and supports 10w reverse charging. It is also IP68 water resistant and that’s a good move from oneplus. Haptic feedback on this one is decent.

Battery:

It has 4510 mah battery which lasts a day easily, and with the 30w wrap charging capabilities, you can recharge your phone in no time.

Cameras:

Main camera is 48mp sony sensor supports OIS and second one is also 48mp ultra wide angle and 8mp telephoto lens which supports 3x optical zoom and a colour sensor. Oneplus mobiles are always be appreciated for their camera performance, and this one too. Colours looks punchy, thanks to the colour reproduction software from oneplus. Even in night times camera produces decent images. Front camera is 16mp, it also performs great.

Cons:

  • Charging technology is just 30w wired, the same is used in Nord which is half the price of this one, they should have increased the charging speed.
  • There is no option to expand memory, you can only use the internal memory.
  • No headphone jack, even no c-type to 3.5mm dongle is provided in the box, if you want to use your earphones, you should purchase it by yourself.

Final verdict:

If you are searching for a flagship phone with all the top tech features in the market with slight reasonable price. You are one to own one.

If you are a fan of any specific brand other than One plus, if you don’t care about the extra money that you save, you may consider other flagships from Apple and Samsung.
