Lets see if you are the one to lit up your pocket or not.

Diving directly into performance:

Asus is the first smartphone Brand to introduce Snapdragon 865+ processor with Rog Phone3. This is the high end processor that is built on 7nm technology with a maximum clock speed of 3.1Ghz. Qualcomm’s Adreno 650 is the GPU. If you are a hardcore mobile gamer, this is no brainer.

It can handle highest graphics and high frame rate of any game with no framedrops or any lags.

Liquid cooling technology is used for no sort of any over heating.

You can customize the CPU and GPU performance with an inbuilt application “armory crate”, you can always play with the backlight of the phone. There is also a “game genie” mode to customize the air triggers, brightness.

X mode is obvious in Rog line up, one can enter into game mode to boost the performance. You can also use the backlight for notifications alert in X mode.

Asus have used Amoled display 6.59 inches, Though it is not any super or dynamic amoled, the colour contrast and deep blacks are clearly visible, thanks to the HDR support. Display is also procted with corning gorilla glass 6, back is protected with gorilla glass 3 and the frame is aluminium which is pretty solid.

The ultimate feature here is the refresh rate, it has 144hz super smooth refresh rate, you can also switch between 120hz,90hz and also 60hz. That’s a good sign to save some battery. It also has 270hz touch sample rate.

Battery:

It has 6000 mah battery just like the rog phone 2. There are no major differences between two mobiles. It has two c type ports and has 30w fast charging support.

Cameras:

Gaming mobiles don’t have much hype regarding cameras, but this one has nailed in camera department too. Primary camera is 64mp sony sensor, pictures captured are crisp and detailed. Secondary camera is 13mp ultra wide and a 5mp macro camera. Primary camera is capable of recording video in 8k and slowmotion at 720p 480fps. Front camera is 24mp which can capture videos upto 1080p, picture quality is quite good.

Sound:

These are one of the biggest boon of this mobile. It has two front firing stereo DTS amplified speakers. They also support Dolby audio. Quality of the speakers are loud and clear.

It comes with Android 10, Rod UI which is close to Stock android with very negligible bloatware.

Coming to cons:

According to the price, it should have wireless charging support but don’t.

It also don’t have any IP rating, no water or Dust resistant.

Brightness level is just 650 nits.

No 3.5mm audio jack, not even c-type to 3.5mm dongle is provided in the box

No major deign upgrades from previous Rog phone. It looks identical to Rog phone 2

Above cons cannot be considered if you are purely buying it for games.

Final verdict:

This is an absolute beast in terms of gaming, if you are a professional gamer and have the money to spend, it worth spending.

If you are not a hard core gamer, hey bro, you can save almost 50,000 bucks. Cheers!!!
