Samsung Note20 Ultra - Review

 

It haven’t been a while since SAMSUNG launched its flagship killer SAMSUNG NOTE20 ULTRA.Let’s get to know about for whom this smartphone would be ideal.Getting into specifications,first

Display and Design:

This phone comes with a massive 6.9inch quad HD+ Dynamic Amoled Display with a refresh rate of 120HZ.

As it is a SAMSUNG’s phone the display too be used SAMSUNG’s where the picture quality will be top notch unlike normal Amoled display’s from Boeing.

It has a resolution of 1440*3200, watching movies and videos would be amazing.

NOTE: (Though  it has a quad HD display, we can only use QHD at 60hz, if you want to use at 120hz then you must shift the screen to Full HD which is a bit disappointment at this price point).

( Oneplus 8 pro supports QHD at 120Hz where it is half of its price.)

Coming back to NOTE20ULTRA, the phone’s body is protected with Gorilla Glass Victus both front and back and sides (frame) is made up of metal. So when you hold the phone in your hands, it feels so premium.

It also HDR10+ certified and dolby vision certified.

Camera:

The next big Boon for this smartphone is it’s Camera’s.

While looking at the smartphone, one must be attracted to the camera bump that this phone  has

It has a triple camera setup. Primary camera is Samsung’s own Isocell bright HMX 108mp coupled with OIS. Secondary camera is 12mp wide angle and third is 12mp periscopic lens which supports 5x optical zoom and 50x digital zoom.

The front camera is 10mp which can handle pictures pretty well.

Performance: 

Samsung India has again continued with the same Exynos 990 processsor which has previously used in its flagship S20 series. 

Though this processor couldn’t give tough competition to its competitior Qualcom’s SD 865, which is being used in NOTE20 ULTRA ( in US ) exynos 990 processor too gives a good performance while Gaming and there will be no sort of issue in day to day tasks as well.

Coming to the sound, This phone has Dual stereo speakers tuned by AKG.

Battery and Storage:

Note20 Ultra comes with a battery of 4500mah Battery which is pretty decent and supports 25w fast charge ( adapter provided in the box ) and also supports wireless charging ( to charge mobile ) and reverse wireless charging ( to charge galaxy buds or watch from phone )

This phone is mated to a Ram of 12GB and an Internal storage storage of 256GB. Hybrid slot is provided to expand the memory.

Main feature:

Note series are Unique and famous for their S pen support, even in NOTE20 ULTRA Samsung has nailed with few feature optimisations for better experience. ( air gestures, low latency while writing )

OS:

It comes with Android 10 out of the box with samsung one UI 2.0.

Final verdict:

Amazing Smartphone with top of the line specifications.

If you have a heavy pocket just go blindly with this phone and you wont regret.
