SAMSUNG BUDS PLUS - Review

It’s been a while since Samsung has launched the 2nd gen tws Samsung buds plus the successor of Samsung buds in the market. Since there is quite a competition in Bluetooth headsets around us, let’s get to know whether this tws makes sense to own a one now or not. This review is more likely to be in comparission with the previous generation Samsung buds, but hey will assure you by the end of this article you’ll have a keen understanding of this product.

First and foremost

Design and Build:

If you noticed, Samsung buds plus is identical to its previous generation, there is no sort of changes in its design, but it continues to be finished in glossy where previously it is more of a matte finish. Both of these earbuds and charging case are made of polycarbonate, and quality seems to be pretty solid in both.

Call Quality:

Samsung claims that they have used three microphones in earbud rather than two with the previous gen, the call quality on these earbuds are drastically improved. There is no distortions, no voice breaks either for the ends (call receiving and attending ). And the connection too is pretty good as these comes with Bluetooth version 5.0.  So there will be no connection drops even you are a bit distant from your phone.

Battery:

Compared to the 1st gen Samsung buds, these were exceptionally amazing in battery life. Samsung claims a total of 11hrs battery life continously from each buds and the charging case can charge the buds fully once. So total of 22hrs. you can also get a playback of 1hr if you charge the earbuds for 3mins( fast charge capabilities! ).

Sound Quality:

Finally!! The sound quality in Samsung buds plus is way better and very well tuned by AKG. Low, mid sounds are crystal clear and the peak volume too be sound quite surtle. Since they used a tweeter alongside a woofer, You can hear every minimal tune and instrument separation quite well. If you are a basshead then you might not be impressed but the thump of bass is definitely there. loudness can also be increased pretty high.

Features:

Irrespective of your device either Android or IOS, Samsung is providing in app support to customise the earbuds as per our liking. You can simply download Samsung wearable application from your playstore/appstore, sync the buds and boom you can control your buds from it. It has touch controls, song play/pause, skip to next/previous song, one touch call receive/cut can be accessible by touching the surface of earbuds.

It has Ambient sound where you can hear your surroundings pretty well once you enable it (since seal of these buds are pretty good, there is very minimal amount of sound that you can hear from outside).

You can find “where is my earbuds” feature. if you miss out any of your buds near you. It will send some high frequency sounds to your buds, so you will know where they are. You can also customise the touch controls and lock the touch controls if prompted. There is always accessibility for software updates from Samsung if there is an issue in buds. It comes it ipx2 certification, they can survive sweat if you are using in gym or in any exercise.

It also support wireless charging, if you run of charge, you can charge these with your phone ( if it too supports wireless charge)

Pros:

Amazing battery life

Good features and support

Great call and Sound quality

Wireless charging

Cons:
Gaming mode only supports with Samsung phones ( if you are a gamer )

No Active Noise cancellation in this price range

Charging case attracts fingerprints easily (you have to wipe it constantly).

Final verdict:
